Education and Outreach
The JILA Center for AMO Physics strongly endorses top-quality science education and efforts to bring science concepts out of the research lab and into local schools and the larger community. It supports the CU education research team's research-based initiative to advance physics and chemistry education at the university and high-school levels. The Center also sponsors activities ranging from Saturday science shows to the CU Wizards Program series to enhance the public's interest and understanding of physics.
