AMO Research
AMO Research
Scientists at JILA's Center for AMO Physics investigate the control of light-matter interactions; the characterization of ultracold matter; the study of molecules and their motions and forces; the manipulation of molecular states, chemical reactions, and energy flow; the investigation of quantum coherence and quantum processes in the macroscopic world; the dynamical behavior of biomolecules; and the development of ultrafast light sources and other precision instrumentation. AMO researchers are committed to sharing their science with students of all ages, teachers, and the public.
